not that I know of. when you pray you are basically talking to God. One of my teachers at church said that he would tell jokes to God when he prayed. It's sill I know but it's a good way to think about it. I mean when you pray just talk to him. :D but no I don't think there is a wrong way to pray.

I am a packrat with my memories. I neatly store them as files labeled life. I create harmony within by releasing my stories and waiting for the relating soul to discover the lesson they hold. I am a story teller, I am a musician. Music is my voice.

Yeah. Prayer is very important. I need to pray more than I do, but I'm getting there :)

There is no wrong way to pray if you're simply speaking directly to the Lord. Now, since you mentioned you're a new Christian...it would be better to start off just by saying "Heavenly Father" or something of that sort. You can pray to yourself, you can pray aloud, in a group...you can pray at any time of the day. THere really isn't a wrong way to pray. Maybe I am wrong.

Well personally I think it's good to pray aloud when you can cause when I pray in my head I get distracted really easily where as if you are praying a loud (I don't mean you have to talk real loud but just talking and not thinking) then you are more concentrated on it. If that makes sense.
